This is a great way to bake adorable Christmas sugar cookies. Sometimes decorating sugar cookies can be overwhelming if you don’t have all the fancy stuff like gel food coloring or meringue powder, or the time to learn how to pipe and pipe royal icing properly. Imagine being able to still bake stunning sugar cookies with frosting and store-bought candy!
Easy Christmas Tree Cookie Decorating Ideas
Divide your cookie dough between two pieces of parchment paper! I do this with all my cakes It’s a great trick because you don’t have to add a lot of flour and it makes cleanup a lot easier!

Simply roll it out when the dough is about 1/4 inch thick and cut out your shapes with your cookie cutters!
Transfer the cookie dough shapes to a baking sheet, bake, and let cool on wire racks! There is no need to wrap the dough in plastic and refrigerate! This sugar cookie recipe doesn’t matter!
