The next step in this recipe is to make the sauce and then set it aside while you cook the potatoes and vegetables for the filling. I love this sauce from scratch! To do this, mix flour, onion powder, garlic powder, garlic salt, pepper and milk in a small bowl.
Bring a 4-quart pot of water to a boil over medium heat, then add the chicken balls and stir until dissolved. Pour the milk mixture into the boiling water and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened (about 3 minutes). Remove from heat and set aside for later use.
