Preparation: you can cook and slice the ham a few days before baking. It can also be assembled with the brown sugar mixture a day in advance.
Cooking Time: Be careful not to cook the ham TOO LONG or you will end up with a ham you don’t want. If you’re worried about time, err on the side of 2 hours (even if it means cutting some of the ham off the bone instead of falling off). It should still be very tender.
