Stuffed Air Fryer Acorn Squash {slow Cooker Option}
You can be creative with what you choose to add to your acorn squash. It doesn’t take much to add flavor to this wonderful vegetable.
Peel the outside of the pumpkin and cut it in half. Then remove the seeds and pulp. Place the squash in the pot and sprinkle both halves with salt and pepper. Add a little butter to each half.
If using pork, add half each. Place brown sugar on each half. Put the butter on each half on top of the brown sugar. Then add ½ cup of water to the pot to prevent it from drying out.
Roasted Acorn Squash
• While this sweet version of Acorn Squash in a Pot is very tasty, you may want the unsweetened version.
• Just skip the brown sugar and drizzle with a little olive oil and add some garlic and even herbs like rosemary, sage or thyme.
How much you can cook at one time will depend on the size of the squash and the size of the slow cooker. You can cut the pumpkin into smaller pieces and it will fit better.

How To Cook Acorn Squash In The Slow Cooker
You can cook acorn squash as much or as little as you want, but I would recommend putting enough in the slow cooker so that they can stand easily and not tip over. I can fit 2-3 acorn squashes in the cooker depending on the size.
Cut the acorn squash in half and remove the seeds. If there are any stems, you’ll want to remove them as well.
Put the lid on and cook on high for about 3 to 3.5 hours. Larger pumpkins will take longer, while smaller ones will cook faster. You can try squash around the 3rd hour. If you can easily pierce it with a fork, it’s ready. If not, let it cook longer.
