Homemade Cranberry Sauce With Frozen Cranberries – Recipe for a quick and easy vegan cranberry sauce flavored with orange juice and frozen cranberry balsamic vinegar.
I’ve been experimenting with a new Christmas entree (I’ll be sharing it this week) and decided it needed to be served with cranberry sauce, so it was time to experiment with cranberry sauce too.

Frozen cranberries retain more nutrition because they are frozen so quickly after picking, while fresh cranberries spend a lot of time traveling and are not as fresh or packed with nutrients.

I also love how the frozen cranberries soften as they cook so you get a nice smooth cranberry sauce.
Orange juice also helps balance the bitterness of the cranberries and reduces the amount of sugar you need to add to sweeten your cranberry flavor.
I used the peel and juice of 4 clementines, but you can use any small orange like peeler, tangerines or tangerines.
Our Family Cranberry Sauce Recipe
Much of the flavor comes from the orange peel in this recipe, but you can use store-bought orange juice if that’s all you have.
This quick cranberry preserve can be stored in an airtight jar or tub in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
